Remote: D08

Thursday March 31, 2020 Remote Day #08, with no foreseeable end in sight.  The other day President Trump extended the "Social Distancing" guidelines through April 30 so that means no in office working but i'm fully equipped and somewhat enjoying the working from home.  We have been having plenty of Microsoft Teams meeting to keep the collaboration going.  Some of these meetings, like our ccrb, have been quite large and I'm impressed at how well all the infrastructures has held up.  While others have had external people scattered all over the U.S.

Something else we won't be doing is running races until at least May but more than likely sometime in June however that's not stopped the training.  This month I had a small set back as I started my taper for Backbeard's Revenge 100 which got cancelled, however, while sheltering at home I have been coming up with different ways of running the inside & outside loops of my apt. complex.  The inside loop is just over 1/2 mile and about 56 ft of elevation per mile and the outside loop is just over 1 mile and about 159 ft of climb.  Neither of these loops are easy but definitely getting the training done!
